To comply with California notary law, all signers must present a valid photo ID. Acceptable identification includes:

Please fill out the document ahead of time, but do not sign it until instructed. The notary must witness the signature in person for the notarization to be valid.
Every individual required to sign must appear in person with their own valid ID. This applies to real estate signings, power of attorney, affidavits, and other legal documents.
If your document does not already include California notarial wording (e.g., acknowledgment or jurat), I can provide the appropriate certificate based on your request. However, I cannot advise on which certificate to choose — that must be determined by you or your legal professional.
